Have you ever heard of doumbek drums? These are unique sets of musical instruments popularly used by those in ceremonies or rituals by some famous or indigenous tribes, such as the African tribes. There are a lot of styles for the said drums and you can even purchased one these days. Why is it called unique set of drums? Well, talking about musical instruments, such as drums, one thing that we could always associate is musical performances or singing and dancing. But, with this specific set of drums, we can also associate various traditions and cultures.
One of the famous usages of these drums when it comes to music genre is on reggae. Reggae is a kind of music genre that is once popularized in Jamaica and little by little being known into the world. If modern musical instruments are made mostly of wood and strings, these unique set of drums are made out of animal's skin and together with the animals skin, the body is made out of wood or ceramics. Indigenous tribes, such as the group of Africans can just make it out of their hands due to the simplicity of the materials used.

There might be lots of dealers out there but not all of them are selling quality instruments which can last for a lifetime. These instruments are not just ordinary, they somehow reflect the rich traditions of those different tribes at the same time, reflect how talented and creative they are.
