Make your sticks last longer

Make your sticks last longer. Turn your crash cymbal(s) at an angle that they are kind of slanted pointing at your stomach. By doing this your using the tip of the stick to hit them instead of the shaft. Now they wont damage. I'd prefere using nylon tips though. Wood tips chip real bad an dthere wouldnt be a point to tilting your cymbal. - Vincent Vecchio
